You know, there were people, when they found out that Michael was gay, who said, and did, the cruelest things. Friends, neighbors, family. My own goddamn sister wouldn't even let her kids come over here. She was afraid Michael was going to molest them or something. Because that's the way people are. They're ignorant and they're scared. And there's nothing you can do, except educate 'em or shoot 'em. Me, I joined P-FLAG, 'cause I figured it was more practical than shooting 'em. - Debbie Novotny
It's been a few months... Wait! Almost 6 months since my last update. I've been quite busy...
In October, I went to Cancun with Adrian and had a fabulous time. We arrived Friday and went straight to the hotel, we walked on the beach and then spent some time in the hotel room. The room was pretty nice. It had a beach view and a jacuzzi.
Later that night we set out to explore thier version of a Mall. It was 'tired' but entertaining none the less. We shopped a bit and then went back to the hotel and ordered room service.
The next day we woke up @ around 7AM and had some breakfast and then set off on a tour of Chichen Itza. It was awesome and I was amazed @ how big the place was. I spent some good quality time with Adrian and then we headed back to the Royal Solaris. The next day we packed and flew back to our separate corners. I enjoyed my birthday this year!
Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years' was crazy. I got wasted all three times. I got promted @ the end of December, so I don;t have to deal with so much BS aanymore.
The most significant change in my life was... how should I say this... getting over Adrian. I still care a lot for him, but i think it's over. Still talking to him though, just not in the obsesive complusive annoying pussy whipped kind of way. LOL!
Wednesday I'm gonna fly over to the west coast and visit SoCal. I can't wait go walking round the Third Street promenade, walk over to the pier and just walk around the beach.
First off... I turned 26! What a drag... Time is flying by and I'm now realizing I have a lot of shit to do in order to be where I wanna be in a few years. I'm still working on investing in a bussiness in Mexico, I'm not going to get into details until the whole thing is finalized. I'm working hard here, trying to save up some money, pay off debt and finally go back to school!
On a better note, I decided that I had to celebrate my birthday in a special way. So I packed my bags and spent my birthday weeken in Cancun. I couldn't go alone so I flew my BFF over to joing me. We had a really good time! We relaxed in the resort and visited the Mayan pyramids of Chichen Izta. The tour was awesome! I am so glad I did this, it was very relaxing to stand in the middle of these ruins and try to grasp how enormous this civilization was.
The rest of the time was spent on the beach and @ the pool. The beach was beautiful! Adrian and I just relaxed and had a little fun in the water. The pool was also nice... the resort was all-inclusive so we had drinks and food to spare. Unfortuneatly I had no more days off available at work, so it had to be a quik trip, but it was well worth it.
All in all the first month @ 26 is going well... 2010 will be a good year! I can feel it!
Tonight after a day of neverending drama @ work, I decided to call Rozybel and see what she was doing. She was just at home chillin', so I decided to invite her to dinner.
I picked her up, and we drove off in search of food. We ended up searching for Pollos Mario. After a bit of searching (niether of us knew where the restaurant was) we finally got there.
Rozybel wasn't hungry, but she sure as hell had a Corona. I ate and drank a couple of beers with her. We caught up and chatted about men, sex and the usual bullshit we always talk about.
I dropped her off @ a friend's house... I might meet up with her in a bit.
So I recently saw 'Fast & Furious'. I must say I was surprised I liked it. I was expecting a pretty crappy movie like Tokyo Drift, or something. Luckily it wasn't bad. I was entertaining, it's not gonna win any Oscars, but it was good. I guess seeing mah hiney Paul Walker might have had something to do with it... LOL!
Well, anyway, the plot was pretty good and I think it was probably the best of of the series!
So I started working on a fundraiser/charity. I'm gonna be designing the website and all it's content. I have a few ideas, but the inflow of information from the organizers is so slow, I don;t know when I'm ever cgonna have a rough draft.
The charity, for those who are curious, is for a Buddhist monastery in Bhutan! I met this very nice Monk on my last trip to Mexico. I volunteered to build and mantain the website. Who would have thought??? I am in that place right now that I wanna do things that are meaningful and might make a difference in the world!
Thanks to my friends Blanca and Diego, I'm now addicted to this not so new Telenovela called Atrévete a soñar. It's actually pretty good and I personally love it because of all the se-he me-hes!! Most of the actors are in thier 20's playing fifteen year olds... LUV IT! And the guys, most of them, are HOT! My favorite is Eleazar Gomez (picture below). Let's see if I can keep up with it! In the meantime I'm totally adicted to the theme song called 'Mundo de Caramelo' sun by Danna Paola!
I'm back bitches.... My 3 week vacation was absolutely fabulous!!! Mexico City has changes so much and Acapulco is as fun as it always has been!!!
I spent most of my time with Blanca & Diego, and they made my stay very fun and entertaining! I met a lot of thier friends and even a Budhist Monk named Yeshi. Overall the visit was fabulous and I now plan to go there more often!I also met up with John & Christian (he lives in NY but for some reason we just never hang out here).
